The lubricating oil used should be selected carefully. They should be the highest available class and the can also be used together with mineral oils. Oils helps on making sure that the inner convey belts are kept well and that they are highly elastic.

In some rare cases the vessels after ensuring all the above precautions the vessels may still be producing a bad odor. If this is observed, a keen inspection and repair of each and every part should be done.
