Often, many golfers believed that their quality of game was influenced by the equipment they use. This resulted to acquisition of new ones but the game did not improve. The quality of golfing by any player is greatly influenced by the physical fitness of a player. This is what determines the ability to swing the clubs and hit the ball as expected. The training course involves different activities that must meet certain time limits every time the activity is taken. In order to ensure all participants get the right allocation of time during the training, participants are categorized. There are two major groups which are one for new players and another for those who have been regular attendants of training classes. The exercises begin with light activities that are done to make the body parts more flexible. Participants are require to perform some hill walk regularly preferably three times in a week. This makes the legs strong and also gaining stability which is crucial. Squatting is introduced at this stage where the player is given a time frame to hit a given number of squats. This activity helps in development of stamina.

There are exercises that are meant to give the hands required strength. This is achieved by coaching participants on how to go up and down on a fixed bar. This overheads squats should be carefully done to avoid any case of falling from the events the hands get too much fatigued. Tough rubber bands and springs can also be used for a similar result.

There is a gym session that all participants should go through. The trainer advices the correct amount of weights any player should lift depending on their physical strengths. Normally light weights are preferred since the reason for doing this is making muscles flexible and not building of huge biceps.

Aerobics workouts are also very important. This involves running for some distance every day to keep the body at preferred conditions. Some people may prefer to do bike rides over the said distance while jogging is also advisable. These are important tasks that help in maintaining an athlete body. The trainer also instructs the players on waist movement and rotation. This is crucial in making this part flexible and strong since it experiences sudden movements during play time.
