Boynton Beach Offers Some Pretty Nice Schools

By Jony Mozen

People always want a good school for their kids when moving to a new town. Boynton Beach offers hotels along the coast where one can rent rooms for the duration of their stay in this beautiful city in Florida. The beaches are only about 4 miles away and the shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. They are situated between two state of the art health care facilities and are only about 15 miles from the airport.

In 1966 the City Commission approved the facilities on the beach and this was named the Walter A. Madsen Park. This was in appreciation for the Mayor, Vice-Mayor and City Councilman. This park has and still is a very popular place for many to visit whether one is a resident or a tourist. Over the years many renovations have taken place and this included restoring the dining area. The bathrooms and concessions were rebuilt and a boardwalk was laid down.

There is plenty of parking with barbecue and picnic sites where the adults can sit and relax while the children play on the playgrounds that are available to all. There is even a beach service available where one can make use of their pre designed packages or even have one designed. Everything will be set up and waiting for ones arrival. Included in this service are lounges, umbrellas, any clothing as well as sun tanning products.

There is now a train which seats sixteen people that carry from one end of the mall to the other with stops on the way. This was replaced by the old Ward one which only ran during the Christmas and Easter season. The old carousel was replaced and now offers different rides that where there when the mall first opened in 1985.

This wood has got so many different names ranging from Ironwood to Greenheart. In France it is known as Bois Ipe and it is more popular because it is not very expensive and very durable. It normally grows in tropical South-central America. It can be found in marshes, on riverbanks and even on ridge tops. They can grow as tall as 140 feet which is one of the tallest trees in this region.

One thing that should be visited is the Flamingo gardens which stretch for over 60 acres. These Botanical Gardens have well over 3000 different kinds of rare, exotic, subtropical and tropical plants. Their Arboretum houses some of the biggest trees in the state of Florida.

There are many golf courses where one can play a round or two and they have 18 holes. There is even a 9 hole that has a set of five tees, where families and friends are invited to have a try. There is a practice area with a driving range and chipping and bunker greens. Qualified instructors are ready to give one a few tips on how to out play ones opponent.

The place has been voted the best family beach by the The Palm Beach post. Every year these beaches see more and more people flocking to swim and watch the surf. The seas are relatively calm and are scattered with palm trees that provide shade for many.
